Trip Itinerary

Taghazout
Day 1-5
The lovely surf town with its various cafés, shops, markets, restaurants, hammams (traditional moroccan spa) etc. will be our base for the week. From there we will do most of the activities. We have several (half-)day trips planned ahead and will see upon arrival who is down to join. 1. Imsouane - day trip - one of the longest waves is Africa + sand dunes boarding on the way 2. Souk in Tamraght on Wednesdays - morning activity 3. Paradise Valley - whole day activity 4. Skate park Taghazout 5. Thursday evening - party night 6. Friday evening - Couscous night 7. Horse back or camel riding at the beach 8. Surf and Yoga lessons 9. Hammam and wellness day
2
Paradise Valley Agadir
Day 5-6
The valley (often locally likened to a “paradise on earth”) is in the middle of the region of Imouzzar which is known for its broad biodiversity. It includes trees of palm, banana, olive and fig. The valley has numerous small waterfalls and cascades and rocky pools. Basically, it’s a small oasis in the middle of breathtaking mountains - the perfect place for relaxing, working on your tan and cliff jumping.

Imsouane
Day 6-7
Not too far from Taghazout’s world-renowned surf spots such as Anchor Point, Killers or Boilers, resides a hidden gem. It's called one of Africa’s best kept secrets. Imsouane itself is a little fishing village. The road between the two villages is full of breathtaking views and you will never get bored on the way. After endless rocky hills, golden dunes and cliffs, Imsouane emerges from the rocks in all its beauty. The village is very quiet and a multitude of bars and cafes face the ocean just above the beach. You realize in a snap of a finger the very cool vibes and friendly locals all around you. After drinking a fresh juice to rest from the trip, you can’t wait to jump in the water! If having the longest right wave in Africa wasn’t enough, Imsouane also offers not one but two surf spots: Cathedral Point and The Bay. The winter swell provides Cathedral Point with hollow powerful barrels and The Bay with long tubing waves. Besides surfing, chilling, eating in the village we will also stop for some amazing sand boarding on the way. Never done it? It is way easier than you might think!
4
Tamraght
Day 7-8
The local Souk in Aourir - Aourir is the neighbouring village of Tamraght, famous for its banana trees, and where the hustle and bustle of the souk happens every Wednesday. Less touristy than Agadir Souk, it's a great opportunity to mix with the locals, practice your Arabic and sample some of the tastiest treats in town! Here we stock up on all our fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables that will keep you fuelled for your surfing and yoga sessions every day of your holiday! Tamraght is a local Berber village, so you'll get to experience real Moroccan culture and daily life here. Wander the streets and you'll see kids on their way to school, people on their way to the mosque for evening prayer and you'll smell some amazing dishes being prepared behind the doors of Moroccan homes! In this village, you'll get to know the local people of Tamraght super quickly and be enchanted from their big smiles and warm welcome!
