Hi adventurer! Join me on a week full of adventures in one of Spain's most stunning areas - the Costa Blanca. You will be staying in the mountain villages of Finestrat on the bottom of the majestic Puig Campana. 🧗 What to expect from this trip?: - Our adventures will take you into the calm waters of the Mediterranean Sea, paddling along beautiful sea cliffs and discover caves only accessible from the water. We will walk, slide and abseil through beautiful canyons and discover the local culture after an exhilarating adventure. We will climb along mountain faces on one of the biggest Via Ferratas in the area, conquering the “sleeping lion” and abseiling off its flanks. During the water and climbing days, you'll be accompanied by experienced instructors who can teach you all the necessary techniques to conquer the water and the mountain successfully. You will ride on an electric bicycle through fertile valleys and via high mountain passes. And last, but not least, we will walk up the majestic Puig Campana with is the second-highest mountain in the area with stunning views which let you see Ibiza on a clear day. You don't need to be experienced in any of the activities. Those activities require a medium level of fitness and a spirit for adventure. 🏠 Accommodation: A hotel in the mountain village of Finestrat. After some time of orientation, it was clear to me that here at Costa Blanca a dream will come true – the life between mountains and the sea, as well as the work outdoors. As an outdoor instructor, I have worked on three different continents so far - South America, Europe, and Africa. I'm fluent in German, English, and Spanish. I am a certified Outdoor Education Trainer and climbing instructor.

The whole trip was perfectly planned! All activities were fully prepared and there was no time to be bored :) Furthermore, the agenda was flexible so if we had to move activities in time or change the place it was possible while still having all the planned activities. Kristina was super helpful and took care of us and all our needs. This was wonderful time! For sure if I will be looking for some trips in the future I will check if Kristina is preparing something! I really recommend going for a trip with her :)
Finestrat will be our home base for the trip. You'll be picked up from the airport and taken to our accommodation for the week. This stunning mountain villages offers a variety of outdoor activities and it's quaint historic center invites to get to know village closer or to try some typical food in plenty of bars along the main road and in the village.

Pueblo Mascarat
Day 2-3
The first day of our trip takes you along the beautiful and unique sea cliffs of the Sierra de Toix. With my friend José we will jump in a kayak and enjoy a beautiful morning out. Watch climbers conquering the cliffs from your kayak and discover a cave which is only accessible by the sea. At our lunch break you can enjoy a little snorkelling tour in a calm bay discover the underwater world of the Mediterranean Sea. The afternoon we spend in the coastal town of Altea. Optional we can as well walk along the "Sierra Gelada" to the lighthouse of Albir.

Abdet
Day 3
Close to the village of Abdet you'll find the "Barranco de la Mela". A river bed which always contains water despite of the dry climate in the Costa Blanca. We will meet our guide José - yes, although the name is quite common in Spain, it's the same guy from the adventure day before - at the start of the canyoning adventure. After the introduction of how to use the equipment, we will start our adventure. It consists of two parts, the first one is of an open nature with abseils and walking passages and the second, the second part is more challenging and offers us a great variety of jumps and slides between its crystalline pools of true emerald colour. After the adventure we will stop for lunch in Beniarda at my favourite local bar and we will visit one of the most beautiful villages here in the area, the picturesque village of Guadalest.

Vía Ferrata del Ponoig
Day 3-4
After breakfast we will start our journey to the "Ponoig" - the "sleeping lion". We will take a journey along the lion shoulder, walk over its flank and abseil from its bum. In the afternoon you can either relax by the hotel pool or come along to Villajoyosa sampling some chocolate or just enjoy the beach.

Relleu
Day 4-5
We cycle from our accommodation in Finestrat to the mountain village of Relleu passing one of the biggest reservoirs in the area. In Relleu we visit that lovely mountain village as well as an airy walk way which guides you along a mountain cliff. On the way back we cycle on narrow mountain paths back to our accommodation in Finestrat.

Finestrat
Day 5-7
On our last full day in the Costa Blanca we walk up the beautiful "Puig Campana" with 1.410 m the second highest mountain here in the area. We walk directly from our accommodation up to the summit of this landmark mountain. On a good day you might be able to see Ibiza as well. In the evening we will finish our journey through the Costa Blanca with a nice meal in one of the local bars.
