Trip Itinerary
1
Malasaña
Day 1-2
I look forward to welcoming you on our first evening and settling into the city with some well deserved tapas. 🤩 If you have enough energy we can talk a walk round the centre in the evening, soaking up the vibes and finding a scenic bar spot for the evening. 🍻
2
Retiro
Day 2-3
Seeing Retiro park is a must whilst in Madrid!!! We can spend a day exploring the Retiro neighbourhood and all it's monuments whilst and floating along the water. It makes a nice way to relax in the afternoon sun☀️
3
Toledo
Day 3-4
If everyone would like to get out of the city for the day, we can easily hop on a bus or train to Toledo for a day of exploration or a wine tasting. As we come up to the weekend, we must remember the saying, 'el cuerpo lo sabe' 😉 and in the evening, we can hit the town🕺
4
Matadero Madrid
Day 4-5
As well as the famous Prado and Reina Sofia museums, the Matadero is a unique hidden gem in the city. 📍 It used to be a slaughterhouse and it has now been converted into a fabulous artistic hub for the city. In the afternoon we'll likely want to cool off, so we can stop off at the outdoor pools in the park, Casa de Campo, for a chilled afternoon. 👙
5
El Rastro
Day 5
Sundays in Madrid are special because of the huge El Rastro market that takes place in the fabulous La Latina neighbourhood. 🛒 On our final evening, we can head to the amazing Riu rooftop bar for a goodbye drink. The sunset from this viewpoint is unmatched. 🌞
