Day 1: Arrival in Lisbon A warm bem-vindo and welcome to Portugal! 🌴🌊🐬 Today marks the beginning of your incredible adventure in this Atlantic paradise. Depending on your arrival time, I’ll meet you at the airport and together we drive to our cozy accommodation in the UNESCO town Evora, where we will spend the first night. Please try to arrive early so you don’t miss out on the beginning of our exciting journey! 😊 Evening is again free for us to get to know each other and the group and to discover local flavors – perhaps try a traditional espetada skewer and a glass of Porto wine? Day 2: UNESCO town Evora To make the most of time here in this small but significant town and after a relaxing breakfast at the market place we will go on a walk around the old centre and learn a bit about this place. Our first stop will be the imposing Roman Temple, right in the heart of the city. We snap a few photos and learn a bit of history about the ruins. After that we make our way to the Capela dos Ossos, the eerie but fascinating Chapel of Bones inside the Church of São Francisco. As we enter, we’re a little awed by the thousands of skulls and bones built into the walls. We can visit the small museum as well and read the somber history of this place. The quiet inside is humbling, and we leave feeling thoughtful and moved. After the chapel, we stroll down to Praça do Giraldo, the bustling main square. We rest at a shaded café terrace, ordering strong Portuguese coffee and a pastel de nata —a must-try local custard tart. Before heading off in the afternoon, we stop at a local artisan shop to pick up a small cork souvenir. As we head south to the Algarve region, about half-way to Lagos we will stop at a small museum with Roman old artefacts, called the 'Museum Center of Sembrano Street'. Here we will take a short break and explore the vibrant exhibition. The drive from Evora to Lagos takes about 3 hours overall. We will spend the next three nights in Lagos City. Day 3: Lagos, Dolphins & Caves Think towering sea cliffs and natural caves! Pack your swimsuit and sunglasses for the next couple of days! After breakfast a wonderful dolphin watching tour awaits us! Those gentle mammals can be spotted around the Atlantic coast almost all year round and we will hold our breath and fingers crossed to meet them. After a relaxing lunch break we will be met by our guide for another water adventure towards two of the most famous caves of the area: Benagil & Carvoeiro Caves (see photo). Evening is reserved for a city exploration and maybe a museum or two. If weather allows we will drive down to a remote beach to watch the sunset and enjoy dinner. Day 4: Today, everyone has a completely free day to rest by the beach or go on an additional guided tour, which there are plenty of here in Lagos! You can either book an additional activity such as surfing or diving or really any other, or feel free to be dropped by a beautiful beach and spend a day there - remember, we have our private car for that reason :). We can also discuss in the group later, if we want to do something together. In the evening we all meet again for dinner and for exchange of our day's impressions :-). Day 5: Departure to Parque Natural INCLUSIVE ✅ Guided Dolphin Watching Trip ✅ Cruise to Benagil and Carvoeiro Caves ✅ Lagos City walk

Day 6: Hiking in Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Surrounded by green lush nature we embark on a full day relaxed hike into the mountains today and enjoy the breathtaking views. You don't need to be an experienced biker or mountaineer to enjoy this day. We'll take plenty of stops for catching breath and taking pictures. Day 7: Along the coast to Lisbon Depending on the weather we can go on another morning hike along the coast line or embark earlier towards Lisbon where we make several stops enroute to see some other beautiful spots, for instance the small town Wines, where Vasco da Gama, the famous explorer, was born. Once in Lisbon, we can go on an evening sightseeing walk and enjoy a final group dinner with everyone. We spend one night in Lisbon. INCLUSIVE ✅ Full day hike in the nature park

Day 8: Departure from Lisbon Today, unfortunately, we already say goodbye to our newly found and old friends. Depending on the time of your flight, you can join the group for breakfast in a nearby café and enjoy the rest of the day seeing more of Lisbon and /or Sintra. My departure flight back home will be in the afternoon around 4pm and if that's matches with your return flight, I'm happy to take you with me back to the airport.
