Hi mates, I am Liza, and I was born and raised in the land of Pura Vida! I love to travel and meeting new people is what keeps my heart running. I have been a guide in Central America for over 5 years. I have run 60+ trips and I have travel to many other countries myself. I am planning a trip to showcase my beautiful land. I am a nature lover; I love my culture and enjoy getting to know the people who travel with me. This trip will be the best introduction to Latin America, you will be safe with a professional local guide, and you will be enjoying a more local experience. Your accommodation will be very comfortable, but also very nature oriented. We will be staying close enough to the main towns, but away from the bustling city when possible. I'll be able to show you some hidden gems and locals hang-outs, from the hidden waterfalls and beautiful beaches to the nightlife in the small towns, hot springs, and the cloud forest. There are many optional activities to choose from, so you do not feel pushed to book something in advance. There are a few included activities and meals as the trip will be required. To make your trip feel like a real holiday, at the end of the trip will include a visit to the best waterfall in Costa Rica, Nuayaca Falls where we will take a tractor ride and a walk into the falls and a well deserved lunch afterwards. We will spend a day either surfing or taking a half day trip to spot dolphins/whales and or just chilling in the small town of Dominical. We will heat the road again, and we'll head out to Monteverde, where there are plenty of options to go zip lining over the very top of the trees and canyoning for the most adventurous. We'll also have the opportunity to taste some freshly roasted arabica coffee and perhaps taste some local spirits. We will travel then to La Fortuna to enjoy some more adventurous optional activities, and we will seal the day with a visit to the natural volcanic hot springs and dinner. At the same time, we will be offering some yoga and/or surfing, depending on what the location offers. 💰 Included in the price: - Hotel in a shared room (Your own room is optional, contact me for more details) -Waterfall entrance + Lunch included. -Natural Hot Springs entrance + dinner -Transportation costs are all private with our personal driver (bilingual). This will be determined by the final group number. The more, the merrier at a maximum of 10 participants. Not included: - Flight (mine free of charge as I am a local) what a great saving. Daily additional trips will be extra fuel cost split amongst those participating. Optional activities: I will send you all the information in regard to prices, location, recommendations on what is the best to book, and if the activity is seasonal. This information will be shared once the full payments have been received. - Other activities (like surfing lessons, yoga, coffee tour, zip lining, hiking, tickets to the national parks are not included. etc) Make sure you budget accordingly for meals, optional activities, souvenirs, going out, rentals of surfboards, beach chairs, towels, etc. I'll make sure to show you some free places to go without any extra payments apart from fuel. As I suggested in the title, we will make this adventure as local as possible with the option to go and try some activities that required a tour operator (ATV, Zipline, catamaran, etc.). I am looking forward to meeting you and showing you the Pura Vida!

Monteverde

Tag 4-6
Monteverde is the twelfth canton of the Puntarenas province of Costa Rica. It is located in the Cordillera de Tilarán mountain range. Roughly a four-hour drive from the Central Valley, Monteverde is one of the country's major ecotourism destinations. Here we can indulge in some of the best coffee in Costa Rica, explore the cloud forest reserve and perhaps have the chance to see a majestic Quetzal (Seasonal). For the most adventurous you have many optional activities like hiking, canyoning, ziplining (Best zipline in Central America) and going on a bungee jumping experience. For the once not so fanatic of this kind of activities, there are many parks and educational centers (bat cave, butterfly garden, serpentarium, Art galleries, orquid garden and more).
4

La Fortuna

Tag 6-8
La Fortuna is a small town in Costa Rica, northwest of the capital, San José. It’s known as a gateway to Arenal Volcano National Park, comprising 2 volcanoes. Active Arenal Volcano is still laced with lava flows. Hot springs dot the foot of the volcano, on the thermal Tabacón River. Dormant Chato Volcano has a crater lake and rainforest trails leading to La Fortuna Waterfall, with its natural pool. In La Fortuna you will have plenty of opportunities to go whitewater rafting, hanging bridges walks, organic farm visits, cacao tasting, and of course the main attraction: An included visit to the natural volcanic hot springs, we will include this activity on the trip.
5

San José

Tag 8-9
The last day on this small paradise is not an easy one, so we will make the most of our time in La Fortuna, and we'll travel back to San Jose in the afternoon for our final group dinner and farewell. The next, if your flight departs in the afternoon, you might have some to visit the town center, Central Market and some other attractions in town. If anyone is interested in traveling somewhere else afterwards, and I can make some suggestions.
