Northern Argentina has it all: incredible nature, unique experiences, and incredible gastronomy and wines. The region is home to some of the country's most beautiful natural landscapes and historical sites, as well as some of its most picturesque cities. From the impressive lakes of Salta to the vibrant city of Jujuy, the Argentine north presents us with a landscape like no other. There are many reasons to visit this region. The people are friendly, the nature is impressive, and it is easy to travel. We will spend 5 nights in San Salvador de Jujuy. From there, we will visit during the day, 3 small towns and a nature reserve. We will go on an adventure to Purmamarca and the Salinas Grandes (Argentina's largest salt flat), Humahuaca and Tilcara, allocating one day for each one and always returning to Jujuy. Both small towns with great hiking trails that will take your breath away. During all the journeys, we will move by bus (unless we coordinate together with rent a car, which would be an extra cost not included in this rate) Returning from the excursions, we will get to know the nightlife visiting the gastronomy of the city. Then, to continue the trip we will spend three nights in the great city of Salta, known for its colonial architecture, but also has a vibrant art scene. It will be a more free plan in case you want to buy a souvenir. That will be the moment! On the second day in Salta we will board the cloud train, one of the highest in the world, which ascends to 4,220 meters above sea level while traveling through the Argentine province of Salta. We will visit Cafayate, it has a series of natural formations that are impressive. Where we will do a full day excursion through the Las Conchas ravine to then enjoy a wine tasting in some of the most famous wineries in Cafayate.
