Hey all and Welcome ! I’m Jouja, 28 years old, Congolese/Egyptian. I used to manage my own bookstore, and I’ve organized a few events in the past. Now, I’m into traveling. Our trip will start in Cairo, where we’ll all meet. There are so many things to do and see, so we’ll not waste any time. For the first few days, we’ll explore Cairo, then on the 5th day, head to Fayoum (Egypt’s secret gem), for a more relaxed experience. We will also spend some time in the desert and explore Wadi Rayan. We’ll spend one night there, then back to Cairo, where we will resume the rest of the activities. Cairo
Tag 1-2
You finally made it ! On the first day, I will meet you at the accommodation (airport pickup can be arranged at an extra fee) and we will check in. Depending on everyone’s arrival time, after everyone’s here, we will either head out to have lunch or dinner together.

Cairo
Tag 2-3
On the second day, we will leave early in the morning for a local tour to Coptic and Islamic old Cairo. We will explore some of the oldest churches, mosques and the Ben Ezra synagogue. We will also sip some local mint tea. After the tour, we will have a mouthwatering Egyptian lunch. Then we can sit in a café for shisha, before heading back to our accommodation.

Giza Necropolis
Tag 3-4
On the third day, we will be heading for the pyramids of Giza. The pyramid is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. After the tour, we will have lunch. After lunch, we will go to Khan el khalili. It’s a famous souk in the historic center of Cairo. It’s one of Cairo’s main attractions. You can buy local crafts and souvenirs, as well as spices, scarves and much more.

Tag 4-5
The next day, we will have breakfast in a very special way! We will have it on a traditional Felluca (boat) on the Nile. Then we will head to Qasr ad Dobarah for another unique experience: creating perfume from scratch. All in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Drinks and snacks will be available. In the evening, we will go on a Nile dinner cruise. There will be live music, belly dancing show and a wide selection of food at the dinner buffet.

Faiyum
Tag 5-6
On the fifth day, early morning, we will be on the road to Fayoum. Fayoum is a city located 100 KM southwest of Cairo. It’s a great spot for relaxing and laid back activities. It’s one of Egypt’s best kept secrets. We will check in at our accommodation, then have breakfast upon arrival. Afterwards, we will explore the town. There’s plenty to see there. From the magic lake, to the Tunis village where we can do pottery. We will also visit Wadi el Rayan. We will spend the night in Fayoum and leave the next day.

Tag 6-7
The next day, we will be heading back to Cairo early afternoon or in the morning. If we’re not exhausted, we can scroll through the city or stay in. We can relax before resuming our activities the following day!

Tag 7-8
We will be leaving early morning to explore Egypt’s iconic museum. The National museum of Egyptian civilization. Afterwards, we’re going for a cooking experience. We will learn step by step how to cook Egyptian dishes and eat together.

Tag 8
Our trip ends on the 8th day. We will check out from the accommodation. Depending on everyone’s flight, we can either have a last farewell breakfast or lunch. If your flight leaves at night, let me know. There’s always something to do in Cairo :)
