Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Welcome to Nepal! Your journey to the Himalayas has begun! Land at the airport in Kathmandu, where you will be greeted at the airport by one of our representatives. You will then be transferred to your hotel in the city, where you can rest after your long flight.

Day 02: Boudhanath Stupa, Pasupatinath Temple, Patan Durbar Square (UNESCO Heritage sites) Rise and shine! Today you are going to visit Nepal's most important Hindu temple - Pashupatinath. It is a pagoda style Hindu temple with gilt roofing and richly carved silver doors dedicated to Lord Shiva, standing on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Pashupatinath is one of the very few living cultural heritage sites in the world. The cremation process of the Hindu's body is the sight full of emotions, but also an interesting way of looking at the life cycle. Pashupatinath is an important site for Buddhist followers, since the two sacred mediation caves of Mahasiddhas Naropa and Tilopa lie here. Next destination on today's schedule is the largest stupa in the world - Boudhanath. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design, with hundreds of prayer wheels and 108 small images of Buddha all around. The moment you walk in, you will feel the pure energy! You will visit the world-famous Patan Durbar Square and its surroundings, which are a perfect specimen of typical Newari architecture. The famous Krishna Temple with 21 pinnacles built in Shikhar style is the major highlight. Other Buddhist must visit places include Hiryana Verna Mahabihar, Rudra Verna Mahabihar and Ashokan stupas. As well as The courtyard or the Chowks named Mul chowk, Sundari chowk, Mani chowk and Narayan Chowk. You can stroll around the old Newari residential houses and explore the beautiful golden temple along with the Kumbheshwor, the oldest temple in the valley.

Nagarkot

Day 03: Bhaktapur Durbar Square tour and drive to Nagrkot. Bhaktapur known as Khwapa in local Newari tongue, meaning city of devotees, most interesting and cultural capital of Nepal, Bhapurpur’s history goes back to 8th century. The city of home of towering old religious temples, finest architectural durbars, a blend of northern art and southern mythology, the aged arts, architecture and cultures are heritage of Bhaktapur. The Pagoda and Shikara style temples, Vihars Vahis, Traditional Buddhist monasteries, stone water spouts, ponds, pati, math and sattal (public shelters), stupas, city gates, palaces, artistic private houses and other cultural and historical heritages are major monuments and ‘Living Heritage’ of the ancient city. This grandeur is set against a surprisingly rural backdrop. Many locals still make a living farming the fields around Bhaktapur and the streets are full of drying crops farmers windowing rice and wheat using wicker baskets and electric fans and bunches of dry garlic are hanged in windows. From a visitor viewpoint; this city is to wander aimlessly, soaking up the atmosphere. Later afternoon, you will drive to Nagarkot. The hilltop called Nagarkot at more than 2,000 meters above the sea level is the second-highest peak in the Kathmandu Valley. After an hour long exciting and winding drive you will be above to feel the cool breeze of air blowing endlessly into your face, and see the widest range of the Himalayas including Mount Everest with our bare eyes from here. It is also one of the best spots to visit for unmatched sunrise and sunset views. And if awesome view is your first preference to visit Nagarkot, then, Peaceful cottage and café Dumont, Nagarkot ought to be your first port of residence. You could watch the sunrise without having to get up from your bed. Just pull the curtain off, have a coffee and relax. Lot of accommodation around this area has bed & breakfast. And they do have an outside eating area where you don't miss any sight of the beautiful sunrise.

Pokhara

Day 04: Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu Today you will drive from Nagarkot to Pokhara in a private car. Pokhara’s tranquil beauty has been the subject of inspiration for many travel writers. Its pristine air, spectacular backdrop of snowy peaks, blue lakes and surrounding greenery make it ‘the jewel in the Himalaya’, a place of remarkable natural disposition. With the magnificent Annapurna range forming the backdrop and the serenity of the Cluster of 9 Lakes with three major ones - Phewa, Rupa and Begnas – Pokhara is a great destination for a weekend getaway as well as a long relaxing holiday. Pokhara Valley, gateway to the Annapurna region where many a trekker finds his Shangri-la, sits high on the list of ‘must visit’ places in Nepal.

Day 05: City tour around Pokhara Phewa Lake & Barahi Temple! Situated at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, it is the second-largest lake in the kingdom. With Barahi island Temple in the middle of the lake, it is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector’s deity representing the female force Shakti. Seti River Gorges Carved by Seti-Gandaki is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool & Prithivi highway Bridge near bus park, provides a perfect view of the river's dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water. Devi's fall Locally known Patale Chhango in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge. Mahendra Cave lies at the north of the Pokhara valley. It is a large limestone cave which is one of the few stalagmites stalactite caves found in Nepal. Gupteswar Cave is a sacred cave, lies 2 km from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Devi's fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all fours. This cave holds special value for Hindus, since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered. Recently built atop a hill overlooking Phewa Tal, the Stupa offers a great place to see the sun set over Pokhara. It can be accessed by hiring a boat and rowing across the lake and climbing a sometimes leech infested track, or by foot from the road that passes Devi Falls.

Sarangkot

Day 06: Drive from Pokhara to Astam Village hike and back to Sarangkot Astam Village is the best option for those people who have short time for trek in Nepal to explore mountain villages and experience the same. Astam Village is famous for the view of sunset and sunrise on the Annapurna range. From this village you see the 360 degree panoramic view of the Annapurna range. Astam village provides the visitors with a traditional Nepali village experience, providing home comfort with an ecological base. Sarangkot. The perfect pre-trek warm-up. Head up Sarangkot in the late afternoon (be prepared, it's steep and hard work) find yourselves a warm guest house before sunset; go up the top for sunset and again for sunrise...you won't be disappointed. Great views, spectacular images and a great way to get a taste of what it's like to be trekking. Beware demented water buffaloes on the way out of town!

Pokhara Lakeside

Day 7: Hike around Sarangkot and hike back to Pokhara city for relaxation After breakfast, you will hike around Sarangkot, and later you will hike back to Pokhara city for relaxation. Alternatively, you can do soft adventure like Paragliding, ATV, helicopter tour etc.

Day 08: Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, you will fly back to Kathmandu. After you check in to the Hotel you can walk through the narrow alleys and a local market, where goods such as spices, flowers, vegetables, and fruits are offered, along with clothing and souvenirs. The ever-busy bustling of the market is a great sight.

Day 09: Cultural Tour around Kathmandu (Kirtipur city, Kathmandu Durbar Square and sacred temples. Kirtipur is a small and old city located southwest of Kathmandu valley on the hilltop. Kirtipur is culturally and religiously related to be monument zones, therefore, listed as world heritage sites of Kathmandu valley, by UNESCO. Kirtipur is a center for Newari culture, customs, and way of life. Besides, this historic town has m anythings to see such as old shrines and temples, old Newari houses, beautiful mountain scenery, people dressed in traditional costume while working on ancient looms. All these features have made Kirtipur a special place to visit in Kathmandu valley. Durbar Square is an important site for Buddhist and Hindu rituals, holy ceremonies, royal events, and kingly coronations. Surrounded by fountains, ancient statues, small ponds, and a series of courtyards such as Mohan Chok and Sundari Chok, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a meditative, religious site for spiritual seekers. Within the inner complex of Durbar Square is the site of the Old Royal Palaces (referred to as the Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex). The Royal Palaces used to house the kings of the Shah and Malla Dynasty, who ruled over the city until the 19th-century. The palaces have since been turned into museums.
