This trip starts in vibrant Madrid and takes you down to the south of Spain covering the southwest part of the country in order to discover an unknown region with many surprises and a heavy past: That is Extremadura. This is the land of most of the conquerors of America, among them Francisco Pizarro, Hernán Cortes, and Nuñez de Balboa. This trip gives you the exclusive chance to unveil a fascinating region with its many peculiarities and identity. We will explore ancient cities, open spaces, Nature at its best, quaint little towns and villages that have managed to preserve their golden past and rich traditions as they project themselves to a hopeful future. The last part of the trip will take place in the mighty land of Andalucia, the south of Spain, and one of the very special regions of Europe for its artistic legacy and its unique location that has served as a gate to the continent to many civilizations. Cities such as Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, and Málaga are a must and will delight us with their splendid past and colorful and cheerful present. Andalucía is the land of bullfighting, flamenco music, gypsy culture, and the unique Mediterranean way of life. I am very thrilled and enthusiastic about leading this trip as I do know all those places like I know the palm of my hand and from previous experience, convinced that will cause an impact on anyone that likes History and Nature.
