Hola! Let's discover one of the biggest Mexican celebrations in Mexico. 🇲🇽 🕯 First... I'm Oss! An enthusiastic, flexible and sociable person who is truly interested on living cultural traditions. Mexico has been beyond my home, a perfect training place to expand my mind and discover many traditions and this one won't be the exception. Pátzcuaro is well known to host Day of the Death with a unique experience with many years of tradition. Every year this town gets full of colors as the people celebrate the return of their love ones, decorating their graveyard, houses and the entire town. Offering their favorite food and drinks. Here, death becomes a big celebration! 🎉 💀 Above the celebration days, we will enjoy from the beautiful natural places surround the town, also, there are more towns to visit and enjoy their food and magical places. So, come with me to check our itinerary: 🗓 -As you are arriving to Mexico City on Friday, I will be waiting for you to provide your place where you will stay for the next two nights. You might be hungry and tired, so we can go to a nice chill place to have dinner and be ready for the next day. - On Saturday, we are enjoying as much as we can our only day in Mexico city. Since morning, we are going to Teotihuacan pyramids with the enjoyable view of a hot air balloon or walking around this historical city only, it's up to you! Then, we will enjoy a traditional Mexican food (of course depending on your preferences, in Mexico we have for every taste.). Finally, we will enjoy a Lucha libre night! -Sunday morning we are driving to our next destination...Pátzcuaro! Be prepared to a 5 - 6 hours trip by car. Our first quick stop will be at the entrance of the town which is called "Los piloncillos" take as many photos as you want and let's go! Once we arrive the place we are staying, we leave our luggage and we are living to get a meal and enjoy the place with options we can discuss before the trip. -Monday! We have a great plan with great activities at Zirahuén Lake. Optional activities are offered by a park next to the Lake (Hiking, ATV, Kayak, Zip line, Gotcha, etc.). We can stay as long as you want and once finished, we are visiting "Santa Clara del Cobre" town. - Tuesday, first day of celebration with many options will be there, like a single visit to "Los muelles de San Pedrito", go around Janitzio Island in boat, visiting the graveyards and of course... enjoying places decorated around the place and of course, the big party of the deaths! -Wednesday, We are still enjoying the town with activities offered by the town (I will catch you up with the schedule) and finally visiting the Janitzio Island. -Thursday morning, we leave Pátzcuaro town and come back to Mexico City. Being aware of your departure flights or whether you have more plans in Mexico, we will do as possible according to the decision you have. 📍 The apartment in Mexico City is close to Reforma avenue with many options to visit around. 📍 The House on Pátzcuaro is 10 min walking from Downtown. The trip cost include: ✅ Mexico City accommodation. ✅ Lucha Libre ticket. ✅ Teotihuacán trip (Transportation, entrance fee). ✅ Pátzcuaro round Trip (Transportation & Accommodation).
