Located right by the sea, bustling Aarhus has so much to offer, whether you are seeking experiences in beautiful nature or a city break including shopping, great food, culture, historic sites and loads of entertainment. The Danes have a certain way of doing things: instead of asking why, they tend to ask 'why not?'. It's a way of thinking that you'll discover on a trip to Aarhus, a city of icebergs, rainbows and New Nordic cuisine. If you're looking for a trip with a difference - why not Aarhus? A Spring getaway to Aarhus might not be your longest vacation this year, but it is the perfect opportunity for you to enjoy Aarhus in the beautiful spring time together with a group of international travelers. Aarhus

Tag 1-4
Aarhus is the best of Denmark in one place! You see, Aarhus offers a ton of things to see and do and is a great alternative to Copenhagen if you’ve already been there or if you just find the capital city too expensive. Aarhus might be smaller than Copenhagen but, especially in 2022, the city’s cultural scene is in no way inferior to that of the capital! So here we'll have the accommodation for 3 nights in a shared flat or hostel (depending on the number of TripMates).
2

Tivoli Friheden

Tag 4
Tivoli Friheden is a theme park in the center of Aarhus with 🎡🎢 four roller coasters, 40 rides, stalls, concerts, events, games and playgrounds. So what do you say? Do you dare to try it? 😏 The entrance is not included.
3

Marselisborg Deer Park

Tag 4
A few hours in the nature! The area houses a wonderful population of sika and fallow deer, which you can get really close-up to. The wild boars live in their own enclosure. In the Deer Park there are plenty benches and table-and-bench sets, so feel free to bring along a picnic basket for a pleasant lunch or a snack in the wonderful surroundings.
4

ARoS Aarhus Art Museum

Tag 4
AROS is the highlight of Aarhus and if you’ve ever seen pictures of a giant rainbow panorama on top of a building on Instagram or Pinterest, AROS is where these pictures have been taken. At AROS, you can also find classic and modern Danish paintings, abstract sculptures and lots of temporary exhibitions.
5

Den Gamle By

Tag 4
If you’d like to experience what life in Aarhus was like back in the day, you have to visit Den Gamle By. This open air museum in the heart of town not only exhibits old buildings but let you travel back in time with a little help of actors, carriage rides, shops and bakeries.
6

Aarhus Street Food

Tag 4
How about dinner in an old bus garage? Just hear me out… Street food markets have been popping up all over Denmark and in more and more outlandish locations! Aarhus’ Street Food Market is no exception, and it’s a great place to eat elbow-to-elbow with Danes and other visitors. But if you fancy splashing out, Aarhus has evolved to become a Michelin-starred city, where you can eat at some of the best restaurants in Denmark.
7

Isbjerget

Tag 4
Another architectural highlight of Aarhus can be found in the neighbourhood of Aarhus Ø at the waterfront. Aarhus Ø is the newest quarter of Aarhus and certainly also the hippest one. There’s a community garden, an ocean swimming pool, a beach bar in the summer and of course “Isbjerget”, the iceberg. Isbjerget is an aptly named, unique building block; the shape of the building has become a trademark of Aarhus and the recreation space around it, is popular among locals and tourists alike.
