Have you ever heard that dozens of dwarfs live in Polish 4th biggest city called Wrocław?! 😲 Maybe you were wondering how many dwarfs are living in Wrocław: 20, 40, 100 or maybe 300? 🤯 Pack your suitcase 🧳 and fly to Wrocław ✈️ - one of the most beautiful Polish cities and European Capital of Culture 2016! I will be glad to show you around and be your best guide for our weekend! 👨🏻‍✈️ On our trip, we will have a competition. You will have to catch as many dwarfs in Wrocław as you can! I am looking forward to see your selfies and photos with our little creatures! 🙆‍♂️ On my trip you will see the city's old central square, city's islands on Odra river, Ostrow Tumski, hall of century area and many more! We will climb on the top of Poland's third tallest skyscrapper "SkyTower" to see the city from above (212m tall; viewing terrace on 49. floor)! 🌤️ What is more, we will watch the famous lamplighter in our city, who lights the city lapms since 1843! We will take some photos with the man wearing famous black cape who gives us some brightness in the town! 🧛 We will visit Hydropolis - aqua science exhibition! You will see the most interesting facts about water and you will use the interactive part of the exhibition. This unique knowledge water centre combines educational values with modern forms of exhibition. Hydropolis is also an exceptional example of revitalization of a post-industrial facility. The exhibition devoted to water is located in a 19th century underground clean water reservoir. 🌊 We will take a ride with the famous cable car in Wroclaw called Polinka. This cableway has 380m, one ride over Oder lasts 2-2.5 minutes. The cars are about seven meters above the water. 🚡 You will also see The Penitent Bridge (Mostek Pokutnic), which is a footbridge between the two towers of Mary Magdalene church at the height of 45 metres. According to the legend, one could see the ghosts of young women, who, instead of taking care of their homes and children, preferred to party with men. As a penitence, they had to cross the bridge between the towers. We will climb it and again - we will take a look at Wrocław from above! 🏰 We will take a look inside Kolejkowo - Wrocław railway scale mockup. Kolejkowo is the largest railway mockup in Poland. Over 700 sq m the most famous places in Wrocław and Lower Silesia were built. 🚂 Expect many more interesting places, such as Multimedia fountain! ⛲ The Wrocław multimedia fountain is the largest such fountain in Poland. There are 8 daytime shows and 3 evening shows every day, with various types of music. It is located in Pergola Wrocław! We will go to Centennial Hall in Wrocław 🏯, Tumski Bridge, Spire Wrocław! 🌲 We will also visit the famous chcolate drinking restaurant E. Wedel in Wrocław! 🍫 The hightlight of our trip is going to be the Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market)! 🎅 We will eat traditional fried cheese "Oscypek"! That is a special smoked cheese from the polish mountains you won’t find anywhere else than in Poland. You will be able to find plenty of sausages, bigos, skewers, potato pancakes and more typical dishes from Poland! Churros, Fries, Langos, Sweet chestnuts, Crêpes, Chimney Cake and much more will be waiting for you. Did we mention the mulled wine already? How could we not! There will be many, many different flavours to try, so you better plan some more time! And do not miss the tasty honey based alcohol! Don't forget to take some polish coins (PLN)! You will be provided all the info about what flights fit the most and which are the cheapest! I will help you with trains, buses and other ground transportation as well. As the trip is going to take place in the end of the year, I am not booking anything right now. However, we will talk about the accommodation later and I will book the perfect fitting hotel or hostel for you (shared apartment and shared bedrooms & bathroom depending on number of TripMates, each individual will have bed and towels). I expect the hotel price as 100 EUR per person and I will make sure that we will live in a clean, comfortable flat close to the most important places.
