Here you will find stunning white sand, breathtaking views, and fantastic limestone cliffs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-rent-a-boat\"><strong>Rent a boat<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There are roughly 200 islands sitting just off the Krabi coastline, some are small rocks jutting out of the sea, some are quite a lot larger but still remain uninhabited and some are large islands with many inhabitants living a normal life. You can rent a boat from Krabi town or Ao Nang and explore the islands on your own if you are a keen sailor. Alternatively, you can rent a boat that comes with a guide so that you can relax whilst everything is taken care of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-temple-at-wat-tham-sua\"><strong>Temple at Wat Tham Sua<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>One of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/en\/search\/trip;type=country;isoTwoLetter=TH;_searchText=Thailand\" target=\"_blank\">Thailand\u2019s<\/a> natural wonders and certainly worth a visit is this warren of caves that sit within the jungle and house many monks that live and worship here, legend has it that a tiger once lived in the cave which is where the name of the temple originated. The caves can be explored and you will find many icons and relics to take a look at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-phi-phi-islands\">Phi Phi Islands<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After being used as the film location for the movie \u2018The Beach\u2019 The Phi Phi islands shot to fame and the tourists have never stopped coming, you can get there by speedboat which takes about forty-five minutes from Krabi mainland. There are two islands, Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh, Phi Phi Don is inhabited and is the one where all the tourists flock. Known for its turquoise water and stunning beaches the island really is a tropical paradise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/solen-feyissa-W2wpUaXVmO0-unsplash-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4683\"\/><figcaption>Wat Tham Sua<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-klong-thom-hot-springs\"><strong>Klong Thom Hot Springs<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>They have been cut into the smooth rocks and the water is provided from deep-rooted thermal springs that are located inside volcanic chambers. The water gets up to temperatures of forty degrees Celsius and contains natural mineral salts that have many healing properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-day-8-krabi\">Day 8 \u2013 Krabi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-krabi-town\">Krabi Town<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Unlike many places that you visit on holiday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/en\/search\/trip;type=city;googleMapsId=ChIJDVBnuGGUUTARsB04LLwjAgQ;label=Pak%20Nam,%20Mueang%20Krabi%20District,%20Krabi%2081000,%20Thailand\" target=\"_blank\">Krabi<\/a> Town is different, it still receives many tourists but it has not changed itself to pamper to the tourist\u2019s needs. It has still managed to retain its \u2018local\u2019 feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-phra-nang-beach\"><strong>Phra Nang Beach<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Having been voted as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world this is a place you will not want to miss. Only twenty minutes by longboat from Ao Nang it has amazing scenery and is a beautiful place to swim. The beach has perfect white sand and huge cliffs at each end of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/en\/search\/trip;type=trip_type;typeId=beach\" target=\"_blank\">beach<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/sumit-chinchane-jWKk-0ZBUyg-unsplash-1024x709.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4685\"\/><figcaption>Phra Nang Beach<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wat-kaew-temple\"><strong>Wat Kaew Temple<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Wat Kaew is a temple sitting in the middle of Krabi Town, It is not the biggest of temples but has beautiful decorations on the inside walls, they are painted blue and have various Buddhist drawings on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-white-water-rafting\"><strong>White Water Rafting<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Fairly new to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/en\/search\/trip;type=city;googleMapsId=ChIJDVBnuGGUUTARsB04LLwjAgQ;label=Pak%20Nam,%20Mueang%20Krabi%20District,%20Krabi%2081000,%20Thailand\" target=\"_blank\">Krabi<\/a> is the opportunity to go white water rafting. The rapids are on the Songprak River where a seven-kilometer stretch of the river is used. Full training is provided when you arrive as well as a full safety talk, making sure you are as prepared as you can be when you start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kayaking\">Kayaking<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Those looking to do something a little less exhilarating than white water rafting but still wanting to get out on the water might like the option of kayaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-night-market\">Night Market<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Krabi Town like so many other big owns in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/en\/search\/trip;type=country;isoTwoLetter=TH;_searchText=Thailand\" target=\"_blank\">Thailand<\/a> has a night market. This market is open every Friday to Sunday in the evening and is not to be missed. There are over seventy food stalls here as well as lots of local sellers selling souvenirs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-day-9-10-similan-islands\"><strong>Day 9-10&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013 Similan Islands<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.joinmytrip.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/thailand-1389249_1920-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"Similan islands, Thailand.\" class=\"wp-image-4686\"\/><figcaption>Similan Islands<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It will take approximately 10- 13 hours to reach the Similan Islands. You can take a bus to reach there.
