Sometimes it can be really difficult to decide where to travel next – I created this guide to help you choose your next destination<\/span>. I think we all agree that after this crazy year a good vacation is highly needed. No matter if you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday or an adventurous one, you most definitely will find your trip at JoinMyTrip<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I picked out 7 trips to different countries for you which are all very different from each other and, in my opinion, very unique. If I could, I would go on every single one of these amazing trips! Let me know in the comments what your choice will be \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

1. Bolivia<\/h1>\n

Bolivia is a country like no other, you will be able to experience beautiful landscapes <\/strong>and <\/span>diverse wildlife\u00a0<\/strong>there as well as a very interesting culture. One of the perks of traveling to Bolivia is that it’s not overrun by tourists yet and the locals will most likely welcome you very nicely, they are super kind. Another perk would definitely be the food. It’s a mix of Spanish cuisine and indigenous ingredients, often with lots of spice. Did you know that quinoa is a very common food to eat there? While it just got more famous some years ago as a \u201csuper-food” in the western world, it has a long history there. Food and everything, in general, is very affordable<\/span> in Bolivia, you can get a full meal for as little as 1\u20ac.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When traveling to Bolivia you should plan a tour to the Amazon<\/span>, the world\u2019s largest tropical rainforest. Most people do this when traveling to Brazil, but doing it in Bolivia is actually cheaper and less crowded.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Ukraine<\/h2>\n

Ukraine<\/a> might not be one of the most famous tourist destinations but is one of the most interesting ones for sure! There are many things to experience in Ukraine. Choose to go on beach holidays in Odessa<\/span> – a popular beach holiday spot for Ukrainians, but also for tourists. <\/span><\/p>\n

Or fly to the capital Kyiv<\/span> for some days to explore the city or surrounding areas. Did you know that it\u2019s possible to visit the nuclear area from Chernobyl<\/span> as a tourist? For a couple of years, Chernobyl is already open for the public to visit. While there is still high radiation, it is totally safe to visit for a couple of hours. Even some hotels are open in that area, how crazy is that?!<\/p>\n

Visiting Chernobyl<\/a> is only possible with a guide. They know the way around and what places are safe to visit as some houses there are very old and could collapse anytime. If you are a fan of so-called \u201cLost Places\u201d<\/span> you should stay longer in Kyiv, as there are multiple ones around the city to visit.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Lapland<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lapland is situated in Scandinavia and most of the time referred to as the northern area of Finland but is actually also the northern part of Sweden, Norway, and even a part of Russia<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A trip to Lapland is certainly not cheap, but definitely worth every euro, trust me! By the way, if you travel in a group you can share costs for accommodations or a rental car, another reason why you should go on a group trip with JoinMyTrip<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lapland is a great destination the whole year round, but some activities require traveling within a certain time and to certain areas. Northern lights<\/a><\/span> for example can be seen from November to April. 4. United Arab Emirates<\/h4>\n

The United Arab Emirates has always been one of the most popular destinations throughout the last years. The best cities to visit are Abu Dhabi and Dubai<\/span>. Especially in Corona times, Dubai was nearly always open for tourists without any restrictions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dubai has a lot to offer, you most likely already heard about <\/span>the Burj Khalifa<\/span><\/strong>, the tallest building in the world. But there are endless other things to experience there.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

While most people travel to Dubai for beach holidays, shopping, and partying, there is actually a lot more to do! If you are interested in Arabian culture, check out the old part of the city, with its Souks (markets) and beautiful heritage village. Get yourself an Abaya or Kandura (traditional clothes) and visit one of the multiple museums to learn more about the culture and history of Dubai.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Azores<\/h5>\n

Have you ever seen a whale<\/span>? I haven’t – but it’s already on my bucket list for many many years. Now is the time to finally do it! The Azores are in the middle of the Atlantic and consist of multiple beautiful islands. Most months the weather is just great there, while some will be a bit rainy, followed by weeks of lush greenery. In Azores y<\/span>ou can see whales there all year round.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is one of the best places to spot whales as well as many different types of dolphins, which makes it very unique<\/span>. Simply book a whale watching tour there or join one of our TripLeaders on her one-week Azores trip, it’s always more fun in a group.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Azores are the place for all nature lovers, offering stunning beaches and endless hiking spots, for example, Mount <\/span><\/span>Pico<\/span>. Visiting Mount Pico will give you a chance of climbing the highest point of Portugal, at 2,351m.<\/span><\/p>\n

6. Croatia<\/h6>\n

Did you know that Croatia has over 1,200 islands? Some are very tiny though. <\/span>Croatia has always been a popular holiday destination, especially around summertime<\/span>, and there is a reason for it!<\/p>\n

You can spend the day at the beach, do water activities, go on hikes, and have a choice of many interesting cities to visit. The most popular places on the coast are Split, Zadar, and Dubrovnik with their beautiful, historic city centers. Croatia is also one of Europe\u2019s best destinations for music festivals, there are a lot and you can combine parties with relaxed beach holidays. Drinks and food are also very affordable.<\/span><\/p>\n

7. Egypt<\/p>\n

Put Egypt on your bucket list for next year! The weather in Egypt is perfect all year round and it’s very affordable there. Most importantly you have to go see the famous pyramids of Giza<\/span> close to Cairo. But there are multiple other places to visit, for example, Sharm El Sheik or Hurghada. There you can do a <\/span><\/span>lot of different water activities<\/span> like diving, snorkeling, boat rides, and much more. If you\u2019re lucky you can even spot some dolphins! One of the popular tourist activities is a Nile cruise<\/span>, for one day or longer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
